Shannon’s Fun Finds is the name of my antique booth and small online business where I enjoy creating unique, fun, and special personalize items.
I love creating customized laser engraved gifts and signs, keepsakes, ornaments, tea towels and well… anything that makes me or someone else smile.
Basically, I love creating fun gifts.
How Shannon's Fun Finds began
My fun little business was launched as a creative outlet but- if I’m honest- it grew because I needed to furnish our beach condo on an extremely tight budget. So I started painting furniture. As it turned out, painting furniture and creating decor also provided a much needed distraction at a time of grief following the unexpected loss of my only sister in 2016 and then my amazing mom in 2020.
I have a vision for Shannon’s Fun Finds. It’s another happy place for me. And the name says it all. It’s a way for me to share my love for fun with others. In addition to fun, I want SFF to be a source of love, kindness, prayer, and encouragement.
When you visit my booth in the GOLD room at Treasures Lost & Found, where you can find anything from repurposed furniture, antique collectibles, and home decor. My booth is packed with unique, fun and unusual items, and even handmade and up-cycled gifts. This adorable Antique Mall is located is located at 2981 Sharpsburg McCullum Road in Newnan GA. When I create something new or paint something that was old or find something that I want to share in my booth, I pray over it. I ask God to bring peace and love to the recipient’s home. In addition, I pray that God will bless the family of the purchaser.
It’s a way for me to bring, not only fun, but the love of God into the homes of my friends that shop my booth.
In addition, and the coolest part, is that sales made at Shannon’s Fun Finds are used to fund our annual retreat where my family and I volunteer at Blue Skies Ministries. If you aren’t familiar with Blue Skies, it’s an organization that serves families battling pediatric cancer. Something new: I have a long list of favorites verses straight from the word of God. When deciding on special items for Shannon’s Fun Finds, I take time to ask God to share specific words for its future home. After that I attach a tag that includes a scripture reference that is uniquely chosen for that item.
I can’t wait to share a special holy word uniquely chosen for you by our Creator.
Learning to make earrings using my laser engraver has been a blast. Actually, everything I do with my laser engraver is super fun!
